Heidi’s resume encompasses over 25 years of hospitality experience including being a Food and Beverage Manager at Chaminade Resort in Santa Cruz, as well as the Food and Beverage Director at the Faculty and Conference Center at UCSC before starting her 12 years as Lead Planner and Designer for Coastside Couture.

Enjoy Heid’s recipe for Limoncello!

Peel eight lemons, avoiding as much of the white pith as possible. Then place in a glass jar and add 750 mL of either hundred proof vodka, Everclear or grappa. Cover and let sit for one month (stirring about once a week.)

After four weeks, strain out lemon peels. Then make a simple syrup of equal parts sugar and water - heat to dissolve sugar. Add to taste. Cover again and let it set another four weeks. Stir again once a week, check taste and add more simple syrup as needed.

After four weeks, strain through cheesecloth into a freezer proof glass bottle. Keep in freezer until ready to drink.

When Heidi’s not working on fabulous events you can find her hanging out with her two children Skyler and Sage, and her adored papillon mix rescue Biscuit and Honey the cat. As a former Chef Heidi loves cooking, and spends hours in the kitchen creating new dishes. In her down time she looks forward to yoga, morning walks with her dog on Carmel Beach, hikes with her Bestie Brook and dance parties in her car.
