Because of this, they have launched Heart of the House Foundation as a non-profit organization to sustain the growth, health, and prosperity of their Soigné Hospitality family. Restaurant closures sparked by COVID-19 revealed the profound vulnerability of the beloved hospitality community, and theFoundation’s immediate purpose is to provide bridge support to team members and their families during these uncertain times.

After closing his restaurants due to COVID-19 related health concerns, Gavin sprung to action, lobbying local government for a deadline extension on the monthly Sales & Use Tax. Within 24 hours Gavin had launched an online petition, spoke directly with the Mayor, and successfully secured the tax deadline extension for all who owe Sales & Use tax securing an important cushion for businesses throughout the state.
