How to Make Paper Flowers:
Cut strips of crepe paper streamer in half. Stretch the crepe slightly and fringe it with either a fringe scissors or a regular scissors
Roll the fringed ends with your fingers to create a more natural textured edge
Dab tacky glue along the un-fringed edge of the strip and roll around a twisted end of a piece of wire. Cloth wrapped is lovely if you have it, but regular paddle wire works, too! Even a dowel or picked branch or stick!
Let the glue dry and trim the center so it is nice and densely rounded like a little pom pom
Cut approximately 8 petals from the crepe paper with the grain going vertically. Cup their bellies and shape with a scissors
Twist their bases and apply with tacky glue around the center
Allow to dry and drim smooth. Finish with floral tape if you so choose and add some petals!
Make into necklaces, garlands pop into vases, or stick out of a friend's mailbox :)
